Happy Thanksgiving!
The Dragon and the Palm Tree
I’ve had this idea batting around in my head for a long time, and suddenly, yesterday while I was at school, the idea just took off. I LOVE writing about Varian and Josh. They’re effortless.
This one is going to be different. Guess why? It’s not set in Vermont! And how, you may ask, are our heroes going to get to Florida?
They’re going to fly.
And what happens when you put two dragons in an airplane, close them in tight, and send them into the sky in human form?
It’s not going to be pretty.
Another Healing!
I can’t believe it, but Another Healing is now on the production clock. I just got a whole bunch of marketing forms to fill out, starting the process. I’m so excited! This will be my first novel in print. I can’t wait. Good stuff happening.
Happy Halloween!

It’s just so wonderful to get reviews like this!
The feeling of Being Published never gets old.
Haunted Halls is going through round two with the editor. It’s getting there.
Getting There!
Okay, I just sent Haunted Halls back to the editor! I know she is going to say “Wow!” Then she is either going to say, “You just made this story amazing,” or she is going to say, “What did you do to this poor story?” Honestly, it could go either way. I have completely lost my confidence in knowing if a story is any good or not. Absolutely gone. I just pour everything I’ve got into it, and then stop. I’m noticing all the time now that reviewers are enjoying things that I didn’t remotely do on purpose and overlooking details I agonized over. Writing is a strange, strange business. One needs to supercharge the brain, and disconnect it at the same time. And I suspect that only other writers have a clue what that feels like.
All that aside, I’m excited for Haunted Halls to come out. There’s an awful lot of the real me in this story. Whoever that is.
Editing, editing…
Hard at work on Haunted Halls, my next release! It’s going to be a good one! Got changes to make, lots of changes, all for the better. Busy, busy.
