Isn’t this a lovely cover? Guess what this one is about? Not dragons, but close!
I just finished the edits on this novella this morning, and I really enjoyed working through them. Silver Pearl has been through a lot of permutations, and I really love how it’s turning out. It will be released in March. Can’t wait!
Just found out that this cover was designed by London Burden.
That is such a beautiful cover! i'm really looking forward to the story. ^__^
Thank you so much! You have some lovely covers out there, too, and some very interesting looking books. I see I have more reading to do…
Thank you! Yeah, the LT3 covers are so lovely. π I hope you enjoy my stuff if you decide to try it out sometime. π
Yeah, they are beautiful for sure. They have a unique feel. And I certainly shall try out your stuff. π
I know, right? That's what I appreciate about them. It's not just half-naked men on a cover, they're so much more than that. π
Yeah. And I've never been able to find photos of guys that really capture the essence of MY guys, if you know what I mean. But I've usually been fortunate with covers. In many instances, the artists I've worked with have been open to using some of my own photographs as backgrounds. That's pretty cool, too. It's all about setting a mood…
Exactly! I can't ever find any guys that looks the way I picture my characters. It's impossible!
Ahh, it's cool that they've been using your own photography. That really does help set the mood, as you get to pick it yourself. π
Yeah, it really does. Actually, if you scroll down, I've got my covers posted on the right. Of the ones there now, I did the photography for A Sky Full of Wings and The Glass Man. That's actually my left hand behind the floating rose.
And I just got another cover I'm really excited about — I'll post that in a minute.
Really nice pictures! π I hope to be able to use my own pictures sometime too, whenever I write the stories that I feel belong to them. π
I just saw your new cover and commented on that post. Really cool cover! π
Thanks! Take lots of photos and write lots of stories and it all works out.
